Real estate operator Prologis has announced that a derelict space in Hayes will be transformed in an effort to stimulate local employment.
It has been reported that six buildings of various sizes will be constructed on the land under discussion. A print company in Ruislip Manor could be used for promotional purposes by companies that use the place. Paul Weston, a senior executive for Prologis UK, has said:
“Prologis Dawley Road is a well-located site in an established industrial area and the new scheme is already attracting interest from expanding local companies as well as from national and international organisations.”
Prologis UK has already developed a site in the district. In Stockley Road, the firm has established Prologis Park Heathrow. This area has been occupied by Gate Gourmet and Adelie Foods.
In contrast, the Dawley Road site has been vacant for about a decade. Mr. Weston has claimed that the fresh development on this site should lead to recruitment taking place within Hillingdon. It has been suggested that the smallest building should be about 3,000 square feet in extent, while the largest one will be over 50,000 square feet.
The local ambitions of Prologis have been developed further. It has been reported that the organisation is behind an application for permission to construct two more units. It has emerged that these buildings will be sited in Prologis Park West London. This area used to be called after Stockley Park.
