Heathrow Airport has recently revealed fresh information of its proposals for expansion.
The move by the airport’s authorities has shown local people that more than another runway is at stake. The proposals have indicated that a business park could be constructed in the area, which may lead to increased local economic development. Such progress could boost demand for full colour printing from Ruislip Manor. A spokesperson for Heathrow Airport has explained the reasons behind the planning:
“Our proposal also compliments existing plans already in place to better connect Heathrow and the UK. This means that by the time a third runway is operational, new rail services to the north, east, south and west are due to be delivered.”
When it comes to the details of the plans, some interesting features have come to light. It has been revealed that a fresh runway would be a driver for new hotel accommodation in the area, and in addition, it has emerged that an underground system for inter-terminal travel would be part of the scheme.
If Heathrow had three runways, it would have a significant impact on the economy of London. This is because it would facilitate travel to a wider range of destinations. To be specific, it has been suggested that the move towards a bigger airport would enable better connectivity with urban areas in China.
