TV celebrity opens local store

November 21, 2015

Vicki Michelle, an actress who starred in the popular comedy ‘Allo Allo’, has officially opened a boutique charity shop for Haven House Children’s Hospice.

Ms. Michelle is a patron for the charity and has been given a MBE for her work. The store is situated on the Leytonstone High Road. If the organisation wants to promote its offer it could use printing services in Ruislip Manor. Jane London, a retail manager for Haven House, has said:

“It was lovely to welcome Vicki to our new boutique. She did an amazing job making people feel excited about the opening and we were delighted that she mingled with customers, browsed in the shop and even purchased some items.”

Ms. Michelle has said that she has been a patron for the good cause for a considerable period of time. This means that she has become really familiar with the efforts that are made on behalf of children with life-limiting health conditions.

Further, Ms. Michelle has sized up what the store should be able to deliver. She has pointed out that the retail outlet is situated in a great spot. Consumers will be able to treat themselves to a bargain and contribute to the cause simultaneously.

The official opening did not pass without amusement. The scissors which were intended to cut through the ribbon proved to be too blunt for the job. Fortunately, a bystander was able assist her in the cutting of the ribbon.
